iOS 6.0.1 Performace and Bug Fixes update now rolling out!

Apple just released iOS6.0.1 which is a minor update to fix performance issues and also to fix some bugs in iPhone 5 and other iOS devices. This update is available as OTA update and it weighs just 43.3MB. We suggest you to update your iPhone 5 since this update comes with lots of bug fixes.   • Fixes a bug that prevents iPhone 5 from installing software updates wirelessly over the air
  • Fixes a bug where horizontal lines may be displayed across the keyboard
  • Fixes an issue that could cause camera flash to not go off
  • Improves reliability of iPhone 5 and iPod touch (5th generation) when connected to encrypted WPA2 Wi-Fi networks
  • Resolves an issue that prevents iPhone from using the cellular network in some instances
  • Consolidated the Use Cellular Data switch for iTunes Match
  • Fixes a Passcode Lock bug which sometimes allowed access to Passbook pass details from lock screen
  • Fixes a bug affecting Exchange meetings

Apple recently unveiled iPad 4 (iPad with retina display) in just 7 months after releasing iPad 3rd generation. iPad 4 has improved processor  FaceTime HD camera and faster wireless module. iPhone 5’s A6 processor is custom designed by Apple and it’s benchmarks are way better than the previous generation processor. Likewise Apple’s A6X processor is two times faster than the previous generation A5X processor.

Here is the GeekBench score of iPad 4. The iPad 3rd generation scored 747.

This time something new is happening.,Apple TV folks can watch the TV online. Only Apple TV users ? Definitely no, anyone can watch today’s  Apple Special Event online. Apple announced that they are officially streaming the event.

Live streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

Apple released it’s New iPod Touch 5th Generation. The new iPod Touch has amazing 4 inch display, Packed with A5 Dual core processor. iPod Touch 5th gen is super slim and lightweight. Apple also adds Facetime HD camera and 5 Megapixel rear camera with flash. The back camera can shoot videos at 1080p. Last but not least, Apple also included the most amazing personal assistant, Siri to the new 5th generation iPod Touch

Apple also included the lightning connector and a Loop (Strap) to hold the new iPod Touch. iPod Touch comes in various colors. As usual iFixit Tears down the new iPod Touch. The sad news is iPod Touch got 3/10, which means it’s hard to repair 🙁
